As I mention in the video, thats not to say that all drugstore makeup is tested on animals or is highly toxic, so I do mention a few brands that I do use :) Plus, Im referring to the large brands that are available everywhere - there could be some drug stores that provide good, cruelty-free and
organic makeup, but that obviously depends on the drugstore and they country you
live in :)

MAC lipsticks and lead, a new study conducted by the US FDA found traces of lead in some their lipstick shades. So here is that list of the
MAC lipsticks with the lead content over 0.1, so it's best to avoid them. They're listed in order of their lead toxicity, starting with the highest:
"Metal Maven"
"Show Orchid"
"Bronzilla"
"Frou"
"Bubbles"
"Bronze Shimmer"
"Frenzy"
"Bombshell"
The absolute highest content of lead in the whole study was found in the following lipsticks (this is the top 4):
